Scorpion Boxing Gym - Day 2 & 3

My reward for kicking the heavy bag 1000 times was a lovely purple bruise on my left shin and middle toe. Its pretty tender right now but I will soldier on as it's not bleeding nor broken. Pain is temporary...

I also have a nice bruise on my second knuckle of my right hand. Its quite painful as Wit has been working my right almost exclusively for the past 6 sessions.

Ive definitely loosened up my shoulders and stance and I can feel my balance, timing and power working in unison each time I deliver my combos.

My left kick is coming along nicely - its frozen from years of inactivity I think another 50,000 kicks will do the trick...
Badge and I found an awesome place for a whole roast chicken and salad - it comes to 120 Baht each or $5 SGD - Bargain. Delicious and Nutritious!

We noticed two big heavyweights working the pads on Tuesday. It was mighty impressive not to mention it makes you feel rather small. Think of the soldiers from 300 crossed with the Footwork of Benji Marshall and the power of David Tua. One could only imagine what it would be like to see Fedor or Mirko workout.

Wednesday Morning was tough. The muscles felt fine but the mind is definitely tired. It was hard to get out of bed and the excitement of training had worn off. Despite that we were half way through our "adventure" so we have to make the most of it. I took my dose of HTFU pills and made my way to the gym.

Morning Session:

4 way training - Trainer works with 4 Fighters together in the ring.

Round 1 - Kicks - 5 on each side, total 50 on each leg
Round 2 - Alternating kicks - Left, Right
Round 3 - Alternating Knees - Left, Right
Round 4 - Boxing - 1,2 Combo finishing off with speed punching
Round 4 - 150 knees

Awesome.
